Character Sketch - Orion Again
Doing some more work with Orion, this time back to his original age (teenager/young adult in human years I guesstimate).
It's been a while since I drew Orion not looking angry or disgruntled. This was intended to be a warm-up sketch, but it didn't really turn out well so I just tinkered with it for a while until I got something I liked. I wanted to try and break out of this 'pose monotony' I slip into occasionally, so I ended up working something like this. It's alright, though a few parts bug me.
What's going on? I dunno, I was running scenarios through my head about what he could be reacting to, but I haven't really pinned down anything yet.
Orion and his story is going through some changes, so right now things for him are in a bit of flux. I suppose we'll see what happens.
Missed a day?
Well...looks like I missed my first day of the sketch blog thing.
Ah well, it was bound to happen, glad it was now instead of later, like February 2nd. Which...may happen still. *whistles*

Character Sketch - Fiv'Rao
This is another character that is in need of 'reclamation'.
This is Fiv'Rao, or Fiver for short, and he's a hybrid of a dragon and a kobold (not the traditional kobolds you may think of, rather the Athmesdian Kobolds that I created).
In the beginning, Fiver was a 'lovechild'-type character, the child of a character of mine and a character belonging to an older friend. He was used in an ancient rp I used to play with said friend, and he was the twin brother of another character the friend created.
To make a long story short, some crap happened and Fiver has gone through a lot of nastiness; I was as mean to this guy as I was with Orion.
So, on a spur of the moment, I thought it was time to try and working on him a little, and this sketch was what was produced.
It's a good start I think, so I may work on him a little more later on.

Character Sketch - Anthro Aurora
A small sketch done in 2010.
For some strange reason I wondered how my little daemon Aurora would look in an 'anthropomorphic' style, so...I gave it a try.
This is actually the third attempt I've tried with her, the first two really...looked hideous to me.
This might be something I will not do again, we'll have to see.
A warning.
Just a small warning: I have been hit with a horrible cold so there might be a delay in the sketches. I will try and keep them going if I can, but I may loose a day or two.

Character Sketch - Steampunk Crew
Today's posting is actually an old sketch done back in 2009, but it helps expand on the whole 'steampunk' idea I've been playing around with for Bahamut and company.
I honestly have no idea what I was going with this, I was just doing some random sketching and started working on this guy. I have no idea what race he is or what position he would be on Bahamut's airship, but I really like how he turned out, so I will be making some plans at some point.
Definitely someone I will have to revisit some day.

Character Sketches - Dragonborn Bahamut
I really enjoy Dungeons and Dragons fourth edition.
For some reason this version of the role-playing game can cause some people to fly into some kind of psychotic rage, but personally I like the game: it's fun, it's quick (well, quicker than some other games), and with a good dungeon master you can have some really great adventures despite what some people claim.
Oh yeah, they also have dragonborn.
In my opinion, including dragonborn into the race list was a great idea; not only could you play a dragon in 'Dungeons and Dragons', but because they're new you could have all kinds of fun with character development since they can have a rich culture and history.
I am also one of the few that likes the idea of playing the 'non-traditional races'; humans and elves are all well and good, but they're used in -everything-, so seeing something new was a good idea to me. I have a good list of dragonborn characters in the 3+ years I've been playing the game; both the good and the not-so-good.
So, as some can imagine, I wanted to try and draw some dragonborn.
That idea is not as easy as it sounds; since my style leans more towards the cartoonish rather than realism, getting the dragonborn down can be tricky. However, after a few tries, I think I've gotten a fairly good handle on it.
At one point I thought it was time to have some fun and try drawing my own character Bahamut as a dragonborn, which was...trickier than I had expected. I think I was in a bit of a slump at the time when I did the first sketch back in 2010 and I was trying desperately to get my groove back on, and the sketch...helped a little.
I do like it, there are some good parts to it, but overall there is something about it that bugs me, so I always wanted to come back to the idea and work on it again, and the second sketch is the result.
This one I like a lot better, there are a few things that bug me, but it's not as bad as before, and with any luck I will be able to color it and finish it up, though it may also let me play around a little as well, we'll have to see.

Character Sketch - Adrian
I love Adrian so much, and I really don't know why.
Adrian is a 'lovechild' character between Bahamut and another friend's character, and honestly I think he's one of the best character I've ever done.
I haven't done a whole lot with his character and personality since I haven't really played with him a lot, but there are a few things I know about him already: he's friendly, lively, and full of an adventurous spirit and some wanderlust.
I haven't drawn him in a while so I worked on this sketch while working on the I already posted (Orion, Leeto and Zack), and honestly I really like how this turned out. I really want to try and finish this one if I can.

Character Sketch - Anugon Bahamut Revisit
Small posting for today.
Back in the ancient mists of time, I had done a picture of "Anugon Bahamut". The idea behind the picture was that I wanted to draw Bahamut as a hybrid creature of a dragon and of the Ancient Egyptian God Anubis, hence the name "anugon".
Well, sometime back in 2011 I tried to revisit the idea and redrawn anugon Bahamut. Only...I don't think I did a good job with him here.
The picture itself is okay, but I'm not completely happy with it, but at some point in the future I think I will try revisiting him again.

Character Sketches - Captain Dorgan
Originally, I wasn't going to let anyone see these, but I finally thought that there wouldn't be any harm in showing them off.
This collection of sketches is of my Starfleet Captain Christopher Dorgan of the USS Rubicon.
Dorgan is one of my main characters/personas next to Bahamut, in fact he was one of my first ones. I always stuck him into different themes, trying to find a good place for him and one of them was, of course, Star Trek.
When I got my hands on Star Trek Online, there was no question on who would be my first character and my "main" in the game; it was Dorgan.
This caused me to want to start doing some Star Trek art, trying to work on my STO ship and crew but the problem is that...honestly I don't think I'm any good at drawing humans, as these sketches will probably confirm.
I tried drawing Dorgan numerous times, but I just could not get him to look right at all, and during this time I really wasn't liking my art so it really didn't help moral.
Out of these four sketches, I do have to say that my favorites are Number 2 and Number 4; in the second sketch I actually tries for a kind of action pose, so it's different enough that I like it, and number fourth is one of my better attempts at drawing him in hopes of finishing it somehow.
I will keep drawing to work on Dorgan, as well as the rest of his crew, I could use a good excuse to work on more humans and humanoids.

Character Development - Chosen Gene
Kind of a crappy sketch post for today, but...I guess there will be a lot of text to explain things.
Due to some problems in the past, Gene is one of my most fun and beloved characters and sometimes I come up with some interesting, if not unusual, ideas.
Gene is a young traveler with a strong wanderlust. He can be a tad cocky, quirky, rude, fun, adventurous, and so forth, but something that may be surprising is that is also very religious.
Due to some major events in his life, Gene has a strong belief in a deity that most people don't know still exist or not: an elemental god of ice that is known for actually being very loving and protective (I haven't decided on a name for him quite yet, still working that out), but since he travels so much and visits so many different places and cultures, he doesn't let people really know that part, not knowing how that would turn out.
Well, an odd idea came to mind while I was playing Champions Online.
I decided to create Gene in the game to have some fun and see how great the character builder is, and since I have several costume slots for every character, I have fun coming up with different variations.
There are -tons- of costume elements in the character builder, including wings and one of the wings I was able to get were the "Colossus Wings"; big rock wings that I think look kind of cool, but for some reason I never really got a chance to use.
That's when the idea struck me.
Gene's story in Champions is that he found himself in the Champions' setting of Millennium City with no real way to return back home; being the adventurous type he really didn't mind it, but over time it does start to bug him a little since everything he knew was left behind, and he actually feels weird knowing that the god he had so much faith in doesn't exist in this world.
Then something odd happened to him; I don't have any real details on what exactly happened, but Gene was 'transformed', being given some strange power for a limited time. His appearance actually changed a bit, looking more like the god he worshiped and one of the things that appeared were these massive ice shard wings.
This is what I call in game as "Chosen Gene".
This idea really intrigued me, especially with a lot of the crap I've been putting him through; the idea of Gene being 'rewarded' with this is something I may develop a bit more.
What is also interesting is that, in a previous posting, I had Gene "infected" with something I called "Organium" which acts kind of like a bio-tech parasite; something that contrasts strongly with this idea.
As for the sketch itself, I don't think it's really that good.
The idea was suppose to be a 'reaction' to when Gene first receives these powers and the ice wings literally shoot out of his back unexpectedly.
It's not very good and I think there are a bunch of problems with it, but I think it's a good starting point and it could be something I can work with later on.

Character Sketch - Sad Bahamut
Sad Bahamut is sad.
This was done for two reasons; I actually wanted to do something simple and cute but it was during the really bad down time I suffered a few months ago, so this ended up being drawn.
It -is- cute, but depressing.
I may finish this, the sadness really does get to me.

Character Sketch - Bahamut and Aurora
I'm still here.
A sketch I plan on working on later on at some point; a small thing with Bahamut and Aurora.
Done during a low point a few months ago.

Character Sketch - Steampunk Anteater
Another small post for today and it's another steampunk-esque sketch.
I love anteaters, I think they're nifty animals and they have a unique look, which I think makes them cool (if not rare) anthro-characters.
After looking through some galleries on dA and fa, I had the urge to try and work on an anteater character. I also decided to try working with a steampunk theme again so I could add onto Bahamut's airship crew.
This was done sometime around June of 2011 if I remember right.
This also...isn't very good.
I think think this is a good concept, but it needs lots of work. Working on the head was much harder than I expected and the image looked too much like some of the reference images I was looking at, so I just need to sit down and work on him a little more.
It's a good starting spot, but that's about it.

Character Sketch - Minotara
Another small posting for today.
As I have said in a previous post, about a year ago I started playing Champions Online, a superhero-themed MMO that has one of the greatest character builders I have played with.
The game is constantly being updated with new content, which is pretty sweet, and one of the new superhero power sets they added in was the Heavy Weapon powers, aka the Devastator.
So that got me thinking on character ideas and I had the idea of building a minotaur character that used the Devastator attacks with a giant axe. At first I was going to create a male character, but then I came up with the name 'Minotara', so that helped change my idea and I created a female character.
So, this is my heroine "Minotara".
Natasha Lazar was an acheologist and historian who had spent much of her time studying the ancient civilization of Minos who got the chance of a lifetime to actually go to the Minoan Island to do some studies.
Little did she know this would change her life, literally.
While digging in a new location, she uncovered a fantastic find, the legendary labyrinth where the Minotaur was held.
She delved deep into the structure by herself where she found a strange, ancient shrine, but when she touched it, something happened, the essence of the Minotaur was stored in this shrine and it fused with her, changing her form.
A mighty voice spoke to her, saying that she has trespassed onto forbidden ground and now she was to be the keeper of the great creature's strength and spirit until she could redeem herself to the 'gods'.
She thought this was the end, until she discovered the abilities and potential she had; strength, dexterity, and the ability to summon a powerful axe a her command.
Instead of dwelling on this 'punishment', she decided to make good with this power and she went forth to embrace a new life; the life of a superheroine.
Yeah...her CO form has a wolf head, but that's because they don't really have any decent bovine heads in the character builder yet.
As for the sketch itself, I tried working on her during on of my DnD games (again, that's why the paper is lined), but it really didn't turn out too well in my opinion, but I was working from memory.
I really need to do more with her, it's a good excuse to practice on bull/bovine/mintoaur type characters and I really think she turned out to be a cool character.

Sketch - Arvanche's Jolly Roger
Something a bit different for today.
A while ago I started a steampunk airship pirate theme with my character Bahamut and I thought it would be fun if others joined if they wanted to, drawing their own characters in a steampunk theme and they would be added onto Bahamut's airship crew.
Well, at some point I realized that Bahamut's crew and ship would need their own jolly roger at some point, but coming up with a design for a jolly roger was a lot trickier than I expected.
There are so many different designs seen through history, so I looked to them as well as Abney Park's own design for inspiration before I designed something I really liked.
This design was done back in June of 2011, and I think it's a good design, I think there is enough for the theme and it keeps the classic 'skull and cross bone' design.
I really need to get a finished look for it, but the extra bits I have going for it may take a while, since I would like to play around with vectors for this but I haven't really 'mastered' using them just yet.

Character Sketch - Arrk's Last Stand
Only one posting for today and it's of a dear, beloved character of mine.
This is Arrk, a gargoyle demon that hails from the Demonic Realm in my 'Eternal Saga' world.
It is important to note that in 'Eternal Saga'; my fantasy world, there exists creatures like demons and angels, but that doesn't mean that demons are all evil and all angels are good.
Arrk is one of these cases. Arrk is actually a good guy character of mine that was captured by the demon lord Zeleme and was enslaved. Or at least, Zeleme attempted to enslave him. The black collars that Zeleme uses usually have enough power to control or break most demonic creatures, but not Arrk. In fact, Arrk has six on him, yet they are unable to affect him.
Arrk is strong and resilient; because he's a gargoyle, he needs to have the extra strength in order to protect who/what he is charged with, but that is one of the problems with Arrk: he doesn't have anyone or anywhere to protect because of his capture, and that actually bothers him a great deal.
Back in older rps, Arrk would eventually find someone that he cared for and became their guardian so he could fulfill his duty. In one old rp, one of them was a young boy of a royal household that a friend of mine played; he was as much interested in Arrk and Arrk would develop a soft spot for him.
This sketch is meant to be a 'last stand' for Arrk; the set up is that Arrk is running after some companions in an escape when there's a cave in and he protects his charge by literally holding up the tons of rock that have collapsed. He gets everyone to get out just in time for the rocks to come crashing down ontop of him and sealing the passageway, saving his charge and his companions.
It's...kind of a sad scene, but it would be something Arrk would do.
This was done during a DnD game, so hence the lined paper. There is a good chance I may try and finish this somehow, once I work out how to fit the companion into the scene.

Characetr Sketches - Disgrunted Baha is disgruntled.
Today's offering are some sketches of my personal character (persona, fursona, what-have-you), Bahamut. These sketches were done when I was...not in a good frame of mind.
The first sketch is of Bahamut in his feral form looking...less that happy.
At the time of this sketch, I was not very happy and I just wanted to be left alone, but that wasn't happening and that just seemed to irritate me more than anything.
Sometimes, you just shouldn't touch.
The second sketch is of Bahamut done in a steampunk setting getting...er...drunk.
"Bartender! This &^*% tastes like *%@#^*& @$%!
GIVE ME MORE!"
Now, I should make mention that I do not drink alcohol, I just don't like it, so that trait has been passed on over to Bahamut.
This sketch was done around Christmas time I believe, during one of the low points I had during the time and I was -seriously- tempted to start drinking, but luckily I never fell for it, but this image was produced ragardless.
Trust me, you do not want to have a drunk Bahamut. You -do not- want this.
…though now when I look at this picture I have “Wenches and Mead” by Alestorm playing in my head.

Character Sketches - DnD Doodles
Today's posting will be a small one, showing off some older sketches I did back in 2011.
These two do have something in common, they were doodled during my Dungeons and Dragons games, hence the lined paper.
First up is a small sketch I did of my characters Geminii looking rather grumpy, though, he always looks grumpy.
Odd thing about this sketch though is that Geminii looks younger than I intended. Odd, but it's kind of neat at the same time.
Second sketch is something with Runic Guardian, I was just playing around with different posings and such. It's not perfect but it was still fun and I rather like how it turned out.
Something I may work with later on, we'll have to see.

Character Sketches - Star Trek
Today's post is gonna be a bit long, but hopefully not -too- long.
I love Star Trek. Star Trek has been a part of my life as far back as I can remember; my dad a collection of video tapes of the original series and I loved watching it, and this was before The Next Generation was running I think.
So, like any good Trek fan, I had my own thoughts and stories revolving around my own ship and crew (which was the Enterprise-F). Of course thinking back on it now you realize that the ideas were really bad, but you do still manage to find ideas that inspire you for ideas to this day.
Nearly two years ago, Cryptic Studios had released Star Trek Online, the Star Trek mmo and I was excited about it, but I was very unsure if the game would be any good, but I was finally able to get a copy of it and gave it a whirl and, well, I was hooked. Being able to command your own ship with your own crew was a lot of fun, and it really got my inner Trekkie thinking.
One of the first things I needed to figure out was a name for my character's starship, obviously I couldn't command the Enterprise, but I wanted to find a good name, something unique that not many people would use. I looked to 'R-Type Final' for some ideas and I found a ship called the 'Cross the Rubicon'. After doing some research on what it was and what it meant, I had found my ship name.
The USS Rubicon, Avenger-Class Star Cruiser, NX-91042.
Now that I had a ship, I needed a captain. That one was a lot easier to figure out; I was always the captain of my ship, so for my first character in the game, it was Christopher Dorgan.
Ever since I started playing, I had wanted to sit down and draw out the crew of the Rubicon, but for some reason I have been having the most difficult time drawing humans and humanoid characters, everytime I've tried drawing Dorgan they've turned out rather awful, one of the reasons why I don't have any sketches of him in this post, but I do have a screenshot of his appearance in-game for a point of reference.
Now, onto the actual sketches themselves.
First up is Drasko, rank commander and the Chief Engineer of the Rubicon.
As much as I love Star Trek, I was always disappointed by the fact that there weren't a lot of creature races; the other alien races you saw looked mostly human with ridges or spots, very rarely did you see a race that was a little more alien, but there weren't any creatures like the Gorn.
When I started to come up with ideas for my own crew, Drasko was one of my own original characters in the Star Trek theme, and he's one of my oldest characters. He started out as Dan Dragon (yes, I put a dragon in my Star Trek) and he was the ship's helmsman, but he slowly started to evolve, now he's a dracon, a race hailing from Alpha Draconis III.
I did try and create him in STO, but unfortunately he doesn't look nearly as good as he does here, heh.
Next, we have Lieutenant Arran, the ship's helmsman.
Star Trek: The Animated Series was one of the only Star Trek offerings that -did- show more creature-like alien races, and I really love the Edosians and Lieutenant Arex was one of my favorite characters, so I always wanted to have one on my own ship. The thing is that the Edosians are actually kind of a tricky race to draw, their head structure is pretty interesting, if not tricky, and their a tripedal race, so that becomes rather tricky as well, but for Arran here, I think I did a pretty good job with him.
Unfortunately the Edosians are not a playable race in STO, and it doesn't look like they will be in the future, but...I can hope.
With any luck I will be able to sketch out some more members of the Rubicon crew, the list is pretty big and heck, I could use the practice on more humanoid characters.

Character Development - Buckle
Today's posting is a bit of a treat, I'll be showing off a bit of character progression.
This is Buckle.
Originally Buckle started off as a random character design, I did the sketch about a year ago and wasn't sure if he would progress any further (don't worry if you can't read the writing on the sketch). I did create a sort of backstory for him, based off a villian idea I had a long time ago.
Sometime last year I started to play Champions Online and I saw how epic their character creator was. On a spur of the moment idea, I decided to try and recreate Buckle to play in the game.
While it's not perfect, it was still pretty awesome to see how close I could get, and Buckle was given some new life.
So, I finally decided it was time to actually rework and redraw Buckle for myself, reworking his appearance based off the original sketch and his CO appearance as well as work on his actual color scheme.
Buckle is a genetically engineered creature, created by the evil scientist Doctor Elliot Bishop of Lab 102, but Buckle was seen as a failed experiment and Bishop wanted to dispose of him, having his lackeys dump him into a river to disappear.
However, Buckle was rescued by a human named Schala Yotal, the daughter of Doctor Enrike Yotal, the head of a small science lab simply known as 'Yotal Laboratories". Schala and her father took care of Buckle and gave him a chance at life.
Buckle lived with the two and learned a lot from them, but then the day came when danger threatened the world and he couldn't sit back; he knew he had to go out and help. Doctor Yotal was against the idea at first, but he finally agreed and helped Buckle by outfitting him with some experimental tech to help him on his task (in Champions Online, the event that spurred Buckle to act was the Qularr invasion of Millennium City, which serves as the tutorial level of the game).
Buckle has no super powers himself, except for some increased regeneration. He was trained in some martial arts by Schala, so he can certainly fight and he is equipped with laser-enhanced fighting claws. The collar/chest device he wears is acts as an interface/communications device (inspired by Dead Space); the glove he wears on his left arm (the power glove, if you will) is a special device that lets Buckle activate and use certain weapons and computer devices and acts as a link up to the Yotal Labs computer systems AI ALIA; and the boots he wears help modify his speed and jumping abilities, increasing his speed and jumping height.
Overall, I'm very happy with his finally look, some parts bug me but they're minor, so it's not too bad. I kept the colors flat for simplicity, though I may still add some shading at a future date, we'll have to see.

Sketch - Organium Gene
Today’s post is going to seem a little odd, and it’s going to have a bit of a story to it.
This is my character Gene, only he's been "infected" with something I call the "organium system".
What is organium?
Organium was something I came up with a long time ago, it's kind of like a bio-technological entity that infects living creatures, but its purpose seems to be both good and bad.
When it infects a person's body, one of the first things they will notice is that 'bits' start to appear on their body; these 'bits' start off small, like a coating on their hands and feet, odd things appearing on their body like around the eyes and ears, and the further progression starts to form things like what appear to be armor or an exoskeleton.
One of the next things that they notice is that their natural abilities or skills are greatly enhanced; so in Gene's case his stealth is even better and his ability to control ice and snow is enhanced.
Then 'upgrades' start to appear, the armor actually acts like armor, and things like the "HUD" display actually start to function and he has enhanced senses and such.
Now, this may sound like a really good thing, but organium is a parasite, it feeds off the host and indirectly controls the host. All of these "upgrades" have a limit to them, the organium doesn't let the host become stronger than it can control and doesn't overpower the host that it downright kills it. Organium also slows down the host's aging, so it could effectively turn a creature 'immortal'.
The host has a chance to reject organium when it first enters the body, but it is a hard task since organium adapts to the host's body and starts to adapt and learn from the host before it synchs up with them. Once it's in, it becomes even harder to reject, but it is possible.
This idea is kind of like a "Borg virus" or the Guyver series, but since I knew little about the Borg and I never watched Guyver at all, so this idea came purely by accident.
Funny enough, this idea came around the time I was starting to like/understand Dragonball Z and I played in some DBZ rpgs, I had the idea of having my character infected with this in order to gain his incredible powers and strength, but with preset limits.
The idea of infecting Gene came indirectly from a dream I had many many moons ago, but since Organium is pretty nasty, I actually feel kind of bad for doing this to him. I would not say that this was 'canon', but it could be...interesting.

Character Sketch - Minion
This sketch is of a character that no one has gotten to see before until now.
This fellow here is Minion, he was used briefly in an old rp I did a while ago. He was one of the hundreds that were enslaved by the demon Zeleme down in his realm of Dys. Minion is meant to be a hybrid creature, if I remember correctly I think he was meant to be a troll/bugbear, so he's tall, lanky, somewhat furry, and has some of the race's skills, such as good stealth and regeneration.
Because Minion had a bit of a reputation for being a cranky and mean creature, he was used primarily for fights; occasionally Zeleme held a fighting competition and forced several groups of slaves to fight, and Minion was one of the ones that did fairly well.
This sketch actually kind of came around by accident. This page was kind of a 'junk page' where I had all kinds of weirdness, but when I realized what I had created, I was a bit surprised with myself, but that explains the messiness of the sketch.
But, there is a chance I may take this and finish it in some way. We'll have to see.

Character Reclaimation - Zack and Leeto
For today we have two sketches and some characters that really did need some love and attention, first is Zack and second is Leeto.
Zack, or Zuloroko, was created around the same time as Orion and was part of an rp I did with an old friend many many moons ago.
He was meant to be the son of Bahamut and someone else, so part of the fun was coming up with a design based on two and he was a lot of fun. However, to make a long story short, things happened and well, he had created a 'sore spot', so Zack kind of fell into obscurity.
But that brings us to his sketch. One of the big things I wanted to do was try and 'reclaim' Zack. That is, recreate him with some design changes that removed the one link and made him solely my own. The tricky part was trying to change enough that I didn't create something completely different.
Now, to consider coloring this; one of his big changes will be his color scheme.
Leeto was pretty much a character I created for fun. He was also a 'lovechild', meaning that his design was based off of my character Bahamut and someone else, but he had ended up creating the same kind of problem that befell Zack.
So, again with this sketch I wanted to 'reclaim him', rework his design to make him solely my own again, but again trying to change enough of him was a bit of a challenge, moreso than with Zack.
I'm not sure if I completely succeeded with Leeto here, his design is good but I still feel like I could do more with it. Maybe it'll be something to work on should I attempt to color this.

Character Sketch - Orion
Alright, so today marks the start of this new blogspot sketch book...thing.
My goal with this is to hopefully post a sketch or two a day, so we'll see how well that works out.
Sometime ago I actually wanted to try and do some serious sketching and draw some of my older characters that haven't gotten a lot of attention in a while, and so my first character was Orion.
This is Orion, Bahamut's first born son and the prince to Zenethia.
I have been really rotten to Orion though, putting him through a lot of crap. Some of it was (mostly) harmless, but later on it became more and more serious: he looses his mother due to an illness, he looses connections with his family, had his emotions trampled on, tortured horribly by the demon Zeleme that included loosing his wings in the most horrible way, nearly fails in trying to rescue a group of escapees from Zeleme's realm of Dys, and would finally become a kinslayer when someone makes him believe that things will somehow get better if he hunts down his brothers and sisters.
So...he's been through a lot, and that's why he kind of looks like he's on edge in this sketch.
There is a good chance I may do some more with him later on though, I've been really rotten to him so I think I should do something good for him for once. Hell, he really does deserve it.
